Get to know Jo

Jo Pilston handcrafts her pottery in the scenic Lewistown Valley, Pennsylvania. She takes pleasure in creating pottery and teaching others as well. Each piece is either hand-thrown on a potter's wheel or hand-built from certified non-toxic, American-made clay. They are then hand-painted with up to five or six coats of premium, American-made ceramic glaze. Various colors and layers are applied to achieve each desired effect. Only food-safe coatings are used in her studio.

We hope you enjoy these pieces as much as Jo enjoys creating them for you. They are all dishwasher and microwave safe and are designed to provide many years of service.
